Happy New Year!
Today we began our 2014 Winter CSA. It was wet, but thankfully not too cold. Our first box of the season included carrots, beets, kohlrabi, swiss chard, yukina savoy, cilantro, and grapefruit.
We are looking forward to servicing our members with fresh from the farm produce over the next few weeks.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,500 times in 2013. If it were a cable car, it would take about 25 trips to carry that many people.

Yesterday, we were pleasantly surprised by two ladies who came to visit us here at the farm. They were from Orlando. The one on the right received the Florida cookbook, “Field to Feast”, as a Christmas present. She and her friend decided to plan road trips to visit all the places mentioned on the pages, and get the family’s autographs. We were one of them. Thanks for stopping by!!
We have a new addition to the farm now! Recently Jeb and Wendy purchased some Cracker cows. Two of the mamas have calved. Both babies are heifers. ♥
This weeks box officially welcomed SPRING!!!
We included sweet ontions, celery, kohlrabi, lettuce, cabbage, carrots, CUCUMBERS, SQUASH, BRUSSELL SPROUTS, dill, GREEN BEANS, basil, podtatoes, and zucchini.
